More About Rickey Shaum's Background

Rickey Shaum holds a B.S. in Business Management from Le Tourneau University. He draws from many years of experience as a project manager, business analyst, interior design consultant, and an American Sign Language Instructor. Prior to starting getnoticedonline.com^SM, Rickey worked for the Bill Priest Institute (a campus of the Dallas Community College District) as a Performance Consultant, coordinating customized training services for area businesses.

As a Business Analyst, Rickey traveled coast-to-coast interviewing multi-million dollar corporations gathering their business processing requirements. These requirements were used to develop and design complex payment processing systems.

Rickey worked for over 10 years in the Community College setting as well. As a Project Manager, he was instrumental in developing 2-year Texas Coordinating Board Accredited technical programs for Collin County Community College. At the same time, during his service at the College, Rickey instructed American Sign Language classes for over 6 years.

Additionally, since 1992 Rickey has interior design experience as a consultant to area Colleges, clients, friends and even some family members! He loves dealing with colors, shapes and anything that improves the appearance of something else. He is also an avid gardener, preferring to use Xeriscape plants, native to our harsh, Texas climate. He incorporates nature’s colors and creativity to his website designs when possible.

As a volunteer, Rickey Shaum has been an Interpreter for the Deaf since 1991 at the Cathedral of Hope and, overall, he has been an interpreter since 1985. As Vice-President of getnoticedonline.com^SM he is actively involved in Business Network Collin County. He assists in updating the website for our clients.
